Addressing Men’s health is important. The leading cause of death in men is heart disease and cancer.  The purpose of the focused Men’s health visit is to identify any potential indicator of chronic disease.   

What happens during a Men’s Health Exam?

In most cases, annual physicals for you and your family include:

  • Evaluations to determine body mass index (BMI)
  • Blood pressure and pulse checks
  • Lung function evaluations
  • Cardiac evaluation
  • Laboratory blood or urine testing
  • Head-to-toe physical evaluations
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG)
  • PSA discussion
  • Immunization discussion
